In honour of Valentine's Day, I wanted to share a festive treat with you all! So here is my recipe for vegan peanut butter balls. I got the heart shape by forming them in a heart-shaped ice cube tray I found at a local dollar store but they can also be found at Amazon!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of Pb & Me powdered peanut butter
1 tbs of LIVA Date Sugar
1 tsp of Almond Milk
1 Package of vegan chocolate chips
Recipe:

1. Carefully melt enough chocolate to cover the bottom and sides of your mould.
2. Add chocolate to the mould and place it in the freezer to harden.
3. Add the powdered peanut butter and LIVA date sugar into a small bowl and mix so they are evenly distributed.
4. Add almond milk and mix thoroughly until it is a dough texture.
5. Take the mould out of the freezer and add the dough.
6. Melt some more chocolate, enough to fill the rest of the mould.
7. Add chocolate to mould and place it in the freezer to harden.
8. Once the chocolates are hard, Enjoy!
Why did I use date sugar?

Swapping refined white sugar for Raw Date Sugar has some amazing health benefits:
low glycemic
low in calories
good for gut health + balancing blood sugar (to fight cravings)
contains Vitamin K, E, C, A, B6, 12, selenium, copper, protein, iron, zinc, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium, omega 3 & 6
high in fibre!
Is this post sponsored? Yes, while I was gifted LIVA date sugar, all opinions are my own!
