Get To Know Me

Hi everyone and welcome to my very first blog post. I answer 25 questions for you to get to know the person behind the blog - Me! - a little better.

What is your middle name? Vivian! I absolutely love it.

Where do you live? Vancouver in Beautiful British Columbia

Favourite subject in high school? It changed from year to year, but I think I’d have to say I enjoyed math the most! 

What is your favourite animal? Bees!! 

What is your favourite drink? Bellini’s or mojitos. As for non-alcoholic drinks, I’d probably have to go with iced vanilla lattes.

What is your favourite food? This one is so hard, but I’d have to say sushi!

What is the last thing you bought? A shell anklet from a little kiosk by the beach while on vacation.

Favourite Color? Light pink 

Do you have any pets? Yes! My family has two dogs and two cats. One of the cats, Pattie, is mine and I love her to bits! She cuddles with me almost every morning and evening. 

Do you have any siblings? Nope! But I have a huge family, on my dad’s side I’m one of 12 grandchildren.

Favourite TV shows? I have so many! Jane the virgin, Brooklyn 99, How to get away with murder, Queer eye, and literally ANY home improvement show, especially Love It or list it Vancouver. 

PC or Mac? Mac, I have an iPhone and love how everything is streamlined between my devices. Plus, I’ve grown up using mac devices at school, so I find the mac software pretty easy to navigate.

 How tall are you? I’m 5’4

What would you name your children? If I had a girl, I would name her Vivian. As you know from the first question, it’s my middle name and I think it’s such a pretty name. As for a boy I have no idea! 

Can you cook? Yes! I love cooking but often don’t have enough time or energy to experiment with new recipes because I hate cleaning up afterwards, I swear it’s the worst part!

How many tattoos do you have? 4, I have a heart on my left wrist, a rose on my right ankle, lavender on the back of my right arm, and a bee on my right forearm! I have about 3 other tattoos planned at the moment as well.

What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender? Bastian, my mum loved the never-ending story and the little boy who finds the book has that name.

Biggest accomplishment? I was accepted into my dream university and will be attending in September 2019! 

Do you remember your dreams? Most of the time yes. I’ve been known to have the craziest and most random dreams out of everyone I know! 

Do you attend post-secondary? Yes, I began university at a smaller local school and then transferred in my second year to a bigger university where I’ll be starting in September 2019!

What is a food you used to hate but now love? When I was just vegetarian, I used to think that tofu was the most disgusting thing ever! When I shifted over to a vegan diet, I needed other ways to incorporate protein into my diet, so I began to cook with tofu, and I was surprised to find out I actually it!

Do you sleep with a nightlight on? No but my room doesn’t have to be completely dark to sleep.

Do you have a nickname? Nope! Sadly, I’ve never had a nickname even though I’ve wanted one my whole life! You can’t really make Sierra into anything shorter though.

What is the best compliment you have ever received? I walked into a local café with my boyfriend on one of our first few dates and I was told that our smiles were so infectious that she couldn’t help but smile when she saw us! 

Favourite restaurant? This is another hard one for me, but I think I’d have to say that cactus club is my favourite just because their modern bowl and Bellini’s are amazing!!! – Try it out next time you’re there, you won’t be disappointed
